Can you believe that another year is over and we’re starting a whole new decade?! Thank you all for another great year. As we move into 2010, expect BIG CHANGES from VAO in the new year!! Think of it as a new year, and a new VAO.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season this year. It’s been a great year, can you believe that we’re already at the end of another decade?! Time really does fly so fast! Anyways, I am REALLY sorry for not updating lately! I’ve been super busy with school and the holiday season so I’m sorry that I have neglected the site a bit. Additionally, VAO is going through some major changes going into the new year, so I don’t want to update the gallery or do anything new to the site until then. So if things are slow for the next week or two, it’s because we’re busy working on stuff behind the scenes to get a new and improved VAO running in 2010.

Last night, for Vanessa’s 21st birthday, Zac threw a surprise birthday party at East Restaurant and Bar. Guests in attendance included HSM co-stars Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Chris Warren Jr., as well as other friends such as Brittany Snow, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Stone, Aly&AJ Michalka, Sterling Knight, . Not only is Zac Efron a total babe, he’s also a good boyfriend!
Just last night, he threw girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens a surprise 21st birthday party at East with about 100 of her closest friends.
“Zac made sure everyone she would want there was there,” a partygoer tells E! News, including Selena Gomez, Brittany Snow, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, High School Musical director Kenny Ortega and Vanessa’s songwriting team Tim James and Antonina Armato.
(Apparently, the doorman isn’t up to date on his Disney stars. Watch as he asks Ashley to ID herself and even asks Selena to spell her name before letting her inside the soiree!)
The evening’s only drawback? Zac really had a hard time keeping the bash under wraps, according to a restaurant source. “He said doing SNL was easier!” the insider tells us.
As for what he bought the birthday girl?
Z gave V a brand-new, high-tech digital camera. Let’s hope she uses it to take appropriate pictures this time, shall we?
About an hour into the party, Hudgens’ cake was presented.
“After she blew out the candles she made a sincere speech thanking everyone again and expressing her love for her family and friends,” says our source. “Then the DJ spun Kid Cudi’s remix of “Poker Face” and Vanessa danced with her friends.”

And while there’s no word if Vanessa celebrated her newly legal status with cocktails, our sources say the couple were “really cute” together, dancing and kissing throughout the night.

Brittany Snow did give her friend some advice on being 21 in front of the photogs, though. “Drink responsibly and take cabs,” she offered. We couldn’t agree more!

We’re currently in the process of some changes with the gallery so I can’t upload any new pictures for the time being. As soon as we get the gallery back up, I’ll upload all the candids from this past week since Vanessa’s been back in LA!

We have a new layout! I have been working on this layout for the past week, so I apologize for not updating the site. Since it’s December and close to the holidays, I decided to make a brand new “Winter Wonderland” theme layout for the site to celebrate the Winter Holidays. Also, Vanessa’s 21st birthday is coming up on the 14th, so I thought adding older and newer pictures and making a “scrapbook” feel type layout would be suitable to celebrate.
