‘High School’ cast graduates after big-screen sequel

SALT LAKE CITY ? School’s out for summer. Out for good, actually. At least for Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel ? the six principal players in Disney’s High School Musical franchise.
Shooting just wrapped for their big-screen grand finale, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, due Oct. 24. While a fourth film is in the works, no one expects the primary players to return.
But for much of the spring and summer, the actors were together again at East High, where the original Disney Channel movie took off in 2006 and became a pop culture sensation, fueled by drama and dance numbers from Efron and Hudgens’ sweethearts Troy and Gabriella; their pals Bleu and Coleman; and twin rivals played by Tisdale and Grabeel.

Vanessa “Arrives” Back at School for Sears

In addition to showing off some fun looks – from “artist,” “glam” and “preppy” to “rock” and “eco” – in print ads, on Sears.com and on in-store displays,Vanessa is staring in a five-part TV ad that is basically like a “musical” with five different acts – one for each commercial. The first ad run will be an introduction, followed by ads 2-4 which are different looks Vanessa is trying on for the first day back at school. The 5th and final ad will be the winning look that Vanessa wears for her first day back at school.
The five-part commercial series and other downloadable content (ring tones, music, videos) are going to be available for download at arrivelounge.com. Vanessa fans who visit the lounge, register for a VIP Access Card and share news about the card with friends will be able to enter an “Arrive Together”sweepstakes. The grand prize is a VIP family vacation to LA via private jet to have brunch and a concert at their school with Hudgens.
Another fun thing that Sears is doing with Vanessa is a “Product Finder Challenge Promotion.” Each week ArriveLounge.com will send VIP Access Card holders an email and/or text message giving them clues to hot items at Sears. Cardholders can go to a Sears store or Sears.com to find the item. When the item of the week is found, they can text a special keyword (found with the item in the store on online) to 73277. Every correct text enters you in a sweepstakes to get a Vanessa Hudgens concert at your school.
